NASSCOSS Online Dance Challenge Concludes With a Vibrant Finale

The National Association Of Social Science And Communication Studies Students (NASSCOSS) Online Dance Challenge, which was organised by the NASSCOSS Director of Socials, Comrade Olawumi Benedit Bamidele (Beefrosh), has officially come to an end after weeks of exciting online activities. The competition, which took place within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication Studies of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, was created to promote talent, entertainment and unity among students.


The challenge, fully sponsored by Beefrosh in collaboration with the Faculty President, Comrade Ayuba, and the President of the Mass Communication Department,Comrade Emmanuel Ayomide, and all other NASSCOSS Excecutives , brought together dancers from different departments who competed through several stages. Each round involved online voting, where students across the faculty decided who moved forward.


After all votes were counted in the final stage,Amodu Deborah joy popularly known as Pretty Debby from the Social Development (SDV) Department emerged as the winner with 1,268 votes, while Ajayi Damilola Eniola. Popularly known as Money Speaking,from Mass Communication finished as runner-up with 1,145 votes. The voting process, which was done online, determined the winner in a transparent and engaging way.


With this victory, Pretty Debby is now crowned the Best Dancer of NASSCOSS and becomes the official Face of NASSCOSS.She  will represent the association at major social events, dance exhibitions and inter-school activities.


According to the organisers, the competition was created to encourage creativity and participation among students, and it has successfully achieved that purpose. The aculty now looks forward to seeing the winner showcase his talent on bigger platforms.
