RUFUS GIWA POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS UNITE AGAINST CULTISM

 


The student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Ondo State has engaged in a peaceful rally towards the unlawful act and practice of cultism, a report given by our correspondence earlier today aiming to enlighten students, particularly freshers/new student, on the dangers of cultism and its effect in promoting peaceful coexistence within the campus.


In a set purpose to their determination in keeping the campus free from secret activities. Patron General Favour Okoli, the Coordinator-in-Chief, led the Rally thereby bringing together students from different faculty, alongside the paramilitaries.


The Deputy Commandant of Cadet Enioluwa Alabi, During the rally emphasizes on the importance of students making peace admist one another and making provision of information to the security unit if faced with threats.


She added that “we are not fighting anyone, but we are determined to keep the campus safe from occultic act that destabilize the peace every student thereby urging students faced with such to report any threats activities to the authorities.


Anota Oluwajuwon the Director General Protocol expresses that while the institution can provide support within the campus, the safety of student who stays outside the school premises can’t be guaranteed 


cultism will not be tolerated on our campus a student said, We will stand united for peace and safety, and we will do everything in our power to ensure that the campus remains safe and secure.
