The management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic,Owo,Ondo State(RUGIPO), has assured the release of the Nd 2 students exam timetable today.
This was known at the meeting held with the Council of Governors(COG), especially the representatives of the Nd 2 students from each departments in the institution concerning the mandatory payment of school fees and other necessary fees before the commencement of examination which is scheduled to hold next week.
Deans of each faculties, including the Dean of students affairs was in attendance to give the students the deserved information they need, regarding their fees and screening.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Deans, Dr Ilesanmi who represents the rector, officially welcomed the Students back from their four months Students Work Experience Scheme(SIWES), thereby acknowledged their efforts at their various attachment.
However, the management urged the students to get their screening, submission of files done and sign necessary documents especially, their course form as lateness will attract a fine 5,000, which has commenced already.
A reduction of 3,000 was pleaded by the Governors which the deans assured a feedback after meeting with the rector.
The Dean of Social sciences and communication studies, Dr Abubakri Raman, implored the faculty's representatives to inform their colleagues about the faculty Journal which they are paying 1,500 instead of 2,000.
