The Student Representative Council (SRC), Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo has suspend the institution's Student Union Government (SUG), President, Comrd. Adedara Daniel Ayobami indefinitely.
RUGIPO Press learnt that Adedara was suspended over mismanagement of funds which he couldn't give a proper account for all expenses he made since he assumed office on June, 9 , 2023.
It was gathered that Adedara has been relieved of all duties including all meetings representing the student community within and outside the state due to the suspension.
The Senator representing Mass Communication Constituency 1, Sen. Adeoye Oluwadahunsi while speaking with our correspondent stated that Adedara made the Senate President and SUG Financial Secretary suffer the punishment of Suspension over his actions.
Meanwhile, the Senate President and the SUG financial secretary who has been on Suspension for over 2weeks has been asked to tender an apology letter to the Senate.
