RUGIPO DECIDE: THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT SUG ELECTION

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo has undergone series of situations where it decides who to be her leader and represent the whole student populace at every event; home and abroad. However, consequence of wrong decision has made the school what it is today.

Obviously, both past and present students can tell the consequence of not choosing the right leader to be positioned on the wheel of students protection. When wrong leader is chosen directly or indirectly, laxity in different areas would be experienced by students. Annual expectations from the government, I.e incentive, capital project and allocation of fund to some social groups would be found difficult to actualize. I believe you won't want to experience hell.

However, I believe this should be a section of intrepid decision which can positively influence the activities of my noble institution RUGIPO. Your vote counts, believe me it counts. Fight for your right. Don't be decieved.

Beware, this season of election, "Rugipolite", you have to stand bold without any environmental or relationship influence that could mar your intending decision. Taking a wrong step would affect the growth of the school.

So many times, proposed aspirants have jeopardized our right with a deceitful gesture, posing to be the Messiah when vying for power but when emerged the position aspired, becomes a beast who rule without even thinking once about the well being of the students.

We have face this in the past, please decide well! Please, no one should be decieved by appearance or grammatical accuracy while campaigning. Most might have a good political advertising strategy, with an strategic approach to rule with proficiency and infallibility. Beware, all is a lie. Choose wisely.

I beseech every students in HND2/ND2 to make sure they are eligible to vote for the candidate of their choice without any complications. Vote for the best and not the beast. Ask our past students, they can tell!

Furthermore, to every aspirants, do not by any means harm any students that decides to support your opponent or have interest in your opponent. Please expunge the mindset to harm. It doesn't worth it please. This is a position with a fixed time to rule. Don't kill and be killed. I speak peace!

Lastly, to the management, free and fair election is mostly decided by the system provided to operate on. The whole students plead with the institution to serve all the students generally without one side being on disadvantage. Principle of equality will always be positioned aright.

In a nutshell, vote wisely, for the next one year lean on your decision now. Do not entertain violence.
