RUGIPO HANGOUT MAGAZINE NEEDS FUND SAYS OBASEKOLA

One of the proposed Co-founders of 'Rugipo hangout' magazine in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, (RUGIPO), Comrade Obasekola Olarenwaju has spoken to the press over the delay in RUGIPO HANGOUT MAGAZINE publication.

During an interview with the press, Obasekola who said that the students should be expecting the magazine next month, has lamented that fund is the major constraint that has been hindering the publication of the magazine since it was established, but some philanthropists promised to assist sooner.

"The organization is really facing financial problems. However, I have spoken with the management but they promised to get back to me very soon.

"Well, I have also spoken with other paratalstal and organization off campus about the funding of the magazine but no feedback yet", he said.

In his speech, he unveiled what led to the idea of Rugipo Hangout Magazine; "According to research, I see students with diverse talents creating different kinds of works while on campus but after graduation, they neglect the talents and venture into another business of the day"

Obasekola explained that unleashing the project will enhance proper documentation for students and celebrities while on campus. 

"No proper documentation or records, for our upcoming celebrities while on campus for ages and this project has brought the idea of making another platform or media by which the students can get access to information in years to come and thereafter", he added.

Moreso, he commended his project teammates, who are working relentlessly in gathering contents, soliciting financial support and producing the magazine, appealing for more support from the school management, students and his teammates.

Furthermore, he enjoined everyone to be excited as the magazine will cover and provide adequate in-depth, unbiased news reports as they unfold in the school premises, demanding unity among them.

He added that the establishment of the magazine will be run yearly from one tenure to another, ' a continuous project' for record keeping and historical references.
