RUGIPO: COG ELECTS NEW EXCOS

The Council of Governors (COG) of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, (RUGIPO), has elected her New Excos for the 2022/2023, academic session.

The new elected Council of Governors members included; Comr. Gabriel Mathew (P.R.O) , Comr. Oluwabunmi Deborah (Welfare) , Comr. Omolaja Bankole (Treasurer) Comr. Afolabi Segun (Assistant General Secretary) , Comr. Olarewaju Toba (General Secretary) , Comr. Morakinyo Ayomide (Vice Chairman) , and Comr. Obadaye Temitope (Chairman).

RUGIPO Press learnt that the swearing - in ceremony took place on Thursday  April 14, 2023 at the central Cafe of the institution. 

The emeritus chairman, Leo Jc. Olaoluwa Olawunmi while speaking with our correspondent stated that, the event marked the 20th Swearing - in and  Handing Over of the Council in the Institution since the establishment of the Council in 2003. 

In his reaction, the ISEC Chairman of the Council, Mr. Obembe  Akinwunmi Lawson while congratulating the new executives, urges them to stay active, accountable to their duty and  always be responsible to all task places ahead them.

Also, the Director of Entrepreneurship Dr. Aderotimi however admonished them to embrace entrepreneurship, as it makes individual self employed in the labour market.
