The management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, has extended the deadline for its ongoing central registration by one week following technical hitches with the institution’s online portal.
In a circular issued on Thursday by the Director of Academic Affairs, Ayodeji Akinsanmi, the school said the portal issues had disrupted smooth access for students, prompting the adjustment of the timeline.
The registration, initially scheduled to close on Friday, August 15, will now end on Friday, August 22, 2025.
Management explained that the extension was to give students facing challenges more time to complete the process, but warned that late registration after the new date would attract a penalty fee of ₦50,000.
The notice further advised students to pay their approved fees via the institution’s E-TRANSACT platform, particularly those encountering difficulties with physical payments, and urged strict compliance to avoid penalties.
