The Council of Departmental Presidents, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo has elected Adegboyegun Adeyeye Ezekiel as the new Chairman of the council.
He was announced as the newly elected Chairman of the council after the election which was held at the Cyber Café of the institution
RUGIPO Press learnt that Adegboyegun Adeyeye Ezekiel from the department of Science laboratory technology was elected as Chairman, while Adenegon Shadrack Olanrewaju, Tourism department as the Vice Chairman.
Others included; Ademola Tope from Library and Information science was elected as the General Secretary, Adebayo Taiwo from Nutrition and Diebetes as the Public Relations Officer, Olawole Gabriel from accounting department as the Financial Secretary.
Adesina Taoheed Adeniyi from Banking and Finance was elected as Treasurer, Ajibade Temitope from Social Development as the Sport Director,and Ezra Alhassan as Assistant General Secretary.
The elected Chairman, Adegboyegun Adeyeye Ezekiel while delivering his speech appreciated everyone for their supports promising to always work in hand with the SUG president to bring positive changes to the school at large
