SRC SUSPENDS ANNUAL BUDGET

The Students Representatives Council(SRC) of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo(RUGIPO), has held their first Inaugural sitting today.
The sitting which was held at the institution's central cafe was attended by the Students union government (SUG)executives and the Students.
According to his welcoming speech, the Senate President, Senator JohnPaul Alaba, commended the Students ascribing their presence as a testament of commitment to service and admonished the Senators to uphold the ethical values and remain focused.
More so, the SUG president, Comrade Omote Temidayo when called upon to present the annual budget and statement of account, was unable to provide the statement of account.
His words " they are still process the signatureries to the account, which the majority principal officers know about it. And the bank manager asked them to come back after 48hours
Meanwhile, the SUG financial secretary was dumbfounded when questioned by the Senate President for not presenting the statement of account which was counted as flaws in her office.
JohnPaul however pended the annual budget till when the statement of account is provided by the next sitting which is scheduled to hold by June 13.
