Mgt makes fresh directives over Class Govs, Deputies nomination
The Management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic,Owo, Ondo State(RUGIPO), has appointed the Council Of Governors(COG) to be in charge of nomination of class Governors.
This was made known in an internal memorandum released by the institution's Director of Students Affairs, Mr Oluwafemi I.N and made available to our correspondent.
Meanwhile, it was earlier recalled that the COG chairman, comrade Atitebi Precious, made this move of New system for class Governors' election with the directorates for students affairs.
The statement partly reads
" I am directed to inform all HODs, that henceforth election' selection of Class Govemors and Deputy Govemors shall be conducted under the supervision of the Council of Govemors (COG).
"This is to avoid the protests and agitations that usually followed the selection in the past.’ ‘
"In view of the above, all the concerned groups should take note and act accordingly
Atitebi however urges the interested students for the posts to commence their awareness within their departments without violating the council's rules.
