The Management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo has announced its Christmas and New year break for students.
RUGIPO PRESS learnt that the break is to be effective from December 14th, 2023.
This was made known in a circular signed by the institution's Registrar, Bayo Elebute and made available to our correspondent today.
According to the circular, "the second semester examination for the 2022/2023 academic session is no more holding at the proposed date due to some unforeseen circumstances which is the main reason to embark on the Christmas and New Year break before the usual December hike in transportation fare.
"However, It was emphatically stated that any student who fail to meet the required conditions will not be allowed to participate in the 2nd semester 2022/2023 examination.
The management wishes all students safe trips to their various destination with the hope of making use of the break to prepare adequately for the forth coming examinations and at same time, wishing all the students Merry Christmas and happy New Year in advance.
