RUGIPO: SRC SUSPENDS HALL CHAIRLADY

The Students Representative Council (SRC), Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) has suspended the Hall Chairlady, Olamide Dajumo today at the 4th constitutional sitting held at Central Café of the institution.

The suspension which came as a result of mismanagement of funds after investigation was carried out by the Disciplinary committee on the withdrawal of Five Hundred and Sixty Seven Thousand (#567,000.00) from the girl hostel account by the Hall Chairlady.

RUGIPO PRESS gathered that Olamide has been placed on a four-week suspension for the mismanagement of funds under her.

Meanwhile, the suspension was made after which an account placed by the accused on how she spent the  fund was pronounced inaccurate, then the motion for suspension was moved by the Disciplinary committee chairman, senator Ajama Dein Desmond  and seconded by Senator Onipede Michael.
