Dear Rugipolites,
We understand the situation ongoing concerning the drastic increment of clearance fee that has compounded series of sores in the heart of students and had negatively maltreated the positive reasoning of students concerning the SUG government saying they are nothing but a powerless and obnoxious leaders not feeling the pain of students.
Believe me, the Student union government have been working tirelessly and assiduously towards the welfarism of great Rugipo Students. it is to the notice of Mr President about the recent increment of the clearance fee from two hundred and fifty naira (#250) to five thousand naira (#5,000).
However, due to the fact that the newly stipulated payment backed up by a circular yesterday is said to be exorbitant and very appalling, Mr President, Comrade Adedara therefore understands our plights and grievances and has heard them loud and clear.
He had met with lots of vibrant officials also lias with the management and found out the main reason concerning the increment, which left him with nothing but to embrace the great advancement as students will benefits more and stress-free clearance procedures.
According to comrade Adedara, the payment is a great development and for the welfare of the entire Rugipo students as it was designed to shun some illegal payments which the management saw as extortion of students. Therefore, we can now check our results online, and have a profile in other to verify any antecedents in our respective departments.
More so, the five thousand naira #5,000 is not lying just for the payment of the clearance form, rather it is for the processes of the clearance exercise as it will be made easily accessible and conducted online.
I'll urge all students to stay calm and follow the due process without aggressively taking actions that could mar the efforts taken by the SUG leadership.
