RUGIPO Press gathered that the elections which covers, SUG, SRC, Hall Rep, Faculty and departmental is scheduled to commence from May 9 to May 11, 2023
The Directorate of Students Affairs, Mr. Bayo Elebute while confirming the latest development with our correspondent said the election was reschedule due to some crucial reason.
According to him "It was as a result of technical issues that the school management majorly at the school portal, inactive for students and aspirants who are unable to pay up their tuition fee which the school have resolved.
"Hall Residence election will be conducted on 9th of May, this is coming as the first election to hold in other to allow management check and balance the election system.
"Also, the Students Union of Government election comes up on Wednesday 10th of May while Students Representative Council on 11th of May and others follow there after.
He however implore all the aspirants to shun violence and embrace peace in the forthcoming election.
