All appears set as Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo is set to host the 21st edition of the Nigerian Polytechnic Games Association (NIPOGA) in the institution.
The sport activities is scheduled to commence on January 11 to January 22, 2023 at the sport complex of the institution.
According to the Sports Director of the institution, Akinsanmi Ajibade, disclosed that the welcoming of all the athletes from diverse institution begin tomorrow.
Also, the Dean of students' Affairs Mr. Olu-Braimoh, said, over 2,500 sportsmen and women from various Polytechnic are expected to participate.
The events are open to fans from all over the world, including the students of the host Polytechnic (RUGIPO) and it's environment.
Other sporting activities involved in the competition included; Athletic, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Scrabble and chess.
