It was an atmosphere full of celebration in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (Rugipo) as the Mass Communication Student Fellowship (MSF) holds a valedictory service to celebrate the Former Head of Department (HOD), Mrs Iyaduni Florence Adedowole.
The epoch making event was held at millennium A of the institution.
It will be recalled that Mrs Florence Iyadunni Adedowole bows out as HOD of Mass Communication after a successful tenure which lasted for about a decade.
Rugipo Press learnt that Adedowole was appointed as the General manager of Rugipo 103.3fm in the year 2019.
Speaking at the occasion earlier today, the Former MSF president, Papa Moses congratulated Mrs Adedowole over her achievements from time immemorial, saying her way of life is worthy of emulation.
Mrs Adedowole who could not hold her joy thanked God Almighty for the grace given to her to witness the valedictory service.
She however appreciated her husband and all students who celebrated the day with her
In the same vein, the students of mass communication shows their appreciation and their tributes through their testimonies and songs to the celebrant.
The departmental president, Oyegbata shayo, Faculty of social sciences and communication studies president, Obasekola olarewaju and students from different level, among others were all present to grace the occasion
