The Ondo State-Owned polytechnic, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo has announced Akinduro Oluwagbega as the Male Hall Chair, 2021/ 2022 academic session.
The election which was held on the 27th, October 2022 at DSA's building was coordinated by the Directorate of Students Affair (DSA), Mr. Bayo Elebute was confirmed free and fair.
Rugipo Press learnt that Akinduro Oluwagbega who emerged as Male Hall Chair and Akindele Oluwapelumi Tenilola as Sport Director were without opponent.
According to the information gathered from a source, said, the two offices were only given as a result of limited session.
Meanwhile, the election was initially scheduled to be held on First Semester but was postponed due to some unlawful action observed from the aspirant by the School Management.
Speaking after declared winner, the elected Chairman Akinduro Oluwagbega has promised to work harder for the betterment of the hostelite and all the students.
In the same vein, Akindele Oluwapelumi Tenilola, the newly elected Sport Director, ensure to work together with all hostelite students and make sure positive impact were achieve before the ending of their tenure.
