The Students judiciary council (SJC) at the Ondo State-owned Polytechnic, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo have been inaugurated.
They were inaugurated at the 5th Constitutional sitting for 2021/2022 academic session in conjunction with the students union executives council (SUEC) on Wednesday, held at the institution's Central Cafe.
Rugipo Press learnt that the meeting was the last sitting for first semester in 2021/2022 academic session.
Speaking at the swearing-in, The institution's Senate deputy president, Jubril Olamidele admonished the Students Judiciary council (SJC) to work diligently and prepare for the task ahead of them.
Our correspondent who was at the sitting observed that the female hall of residence Chairlady, Omonigbo Blessing with welfare of female hall residence, Bukunmi Osanlade were called on to defend their proposed capital project while the Students union executive council ( SUEC) were also called on to defend their own capital project.
The capital project of female hall residence which consists fixing of light at the backyard of the female hostel, opening of common room for block F and G was approved after what the senators deliberate on.
Rugipo Press however gathered that the senators sitting allowance was approved while the student Union executive council meeting (SUEC) project was attended to as well.
The meeting was graced with the presence of the senators, SUEC, observers among others.
