The Management of Ondo state owned Polytechnic, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) has announced a new date for the Matriculation ceremony of fresh students of the institution.
Rugipo Press gathered that the Matriculation ceremony will now commence on 19th August, 2022.
It will be recalled that the matriculation ceremony for fresh students was earlier scheduled to hold on August 12, 2022.
The Institution’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Ojo Samuel while speaking our correspondent confirmed the new development
In a circular letter made available to our correspondent with the reference number RUGIPO/DAA/ADM/108/115 containing the calendar of 2021/2022 academic session, Ojo said "the new date set for matriculation is still this month which is 19th of August 2022.
"The management is trying as much as possible to satisfy the general students of the institution and also give them a reliable calendar for the session.
He however urged the entire students of institution, especially the fresh students to save the new date and always make themselves available for the matriculation saying that, "this year matriculation ceremony will be one of its kind in the institution".
