Ondo State owned Polytechnic, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) has said it has fixed Friday August 19, 2022 for the Matriculation ceremony for the newly students into 2021/2022 academic session.
Rugipo Press learnt that the forthcoming Matriculation ceremony will be 29th of its kind since inception of the institution.
In a circular letter signed by the Registrar of the institution, Mr. Sule Atiku and made available to our correspondent stated that all matriculating students are to get their matriculation gown from their faculty officer on thursday, 18th August, 2022.
Atiku also noted that the matriculation ceremony will be presided over by the Rector, Mr. Gani Adebola Ogundahunsi.
The circular partly reads; "All matriculating students are advised to get in touch with the Faculty Officers of their respective faculties on Thursday, 18th August, 2022 for the collection of academic gowns and be seated in robe at the venue of the event before 10.00am on the matriculation day.
"The Management of the Institution uses this medium to congratulate all prospective matriculants and their parents and enjoin them to make the ceremony a hitch-free exercise."
