It was a moment of joy in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) as the Ondo State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi Flagged-off the renovation of the school gate and hostel on Thursday.
Ogunmolasuyi also unveil the newly purchased Alumni Utility Bus for the institution.
Rugipo Press learnt that Ogunmolasuyi's visit to the institution was based on the invitation he recieved from the Alumni Association of the institution.
The occasion was graced by some leaders of the Association, top management staff of the institution among others
Speaking at the occasion, Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi who expressed joy on the invitation promised to make further contributions to the institution in the nearest future.
"I flag off the renovation project with the sum of N200,000 for work to begin immediately and i charge those responsible to ensure work is done swiftly."He said.
In the same vein, the Alumni Association thanked the majority leader for his generosity and willingness to answer whenever he is called upon.
However, The Rector of the institution, Mr Gani Ogundahunsi while speaking prayed for the success of his re-election bid.
