Ondo State-owned Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo has postponed its earlier announced resumption date to commence accademic activities.
The circular realeased and signed by Gbenga Ademuluyi has it that the stated date for resumption has been shifted from Sunday 8th may, 2022 to sunday 15th may, 2022.
However, the reason for the slight adjustment was owing to the refreshment of the unkept compound base on the long holiday declared for a proper environmental atmosphere.
The circular partly reads, "Management decide to effect a week shift to the resumption in other to give room for general cleaning in the entire Polytechnic campus."
Furthermore, the effect also aims to give the hall of residence both male and female a thorough cleaning.
The management wishes all students a safe return to the institution as accademic activities would commence as stated.
