The Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ondo State Chapter, Pathfinder Ogunmolawa Matthew Adewale has admonished the staff and State Government to consider the innocent students as RUGIPO strike action lingers.

Ogunmolawa made this known through his Chief Press Officer, Comr. Adeniyi Emmanuel Egbuwalo, at the State capital, Akure, on Tuesday, 5th of April, 2022.

Ogunmolawa stressed that students are the ending results of the strike which hinder  the academic calendar of an institution and prolong their stay in an institution.

Furthermore, he said, "Every worker deserves it's wages in this poor economy, in which the cost of living is very high.''

He explained that the concerned bodies aught to have considered the interest of the students, who are innocent and are eager to commence the new academic session.

Ogunmolawa advised the State Government to come to the aid of the institution by giving special intervention to issues being faced by the school Management and Staff, in order to make the institution one of the best Polytechnics in the country.
