Joy can be hidden but great joy cannot be hidden, the joy of signing out and graduation cannot be overemphasized neither can it be compared to the tension of being in school.
Campus life; The campus community is another life entire, different orientation of individuals from different background, coming to stay and live to suit this community can be so challenging, mostly when you are from a poor background, which mostly lead some to astray while some still remain focus.
However, every students who graduated successfully owe God a lot, because not all who were admitted together with same academic set graduated together.
I was in an awe, when I was soliloquizing on the move to take on my sign out day; before, during and after my last paper in the Polytechnic, then I reflected that I have passed through different courses which needed to develop. I see beyond sign out, I see beyond being a student and looking to the fact of being in the world full of problems, anxiety and people decide to call on me, SFO, as a graduate, let's see what he could offer because we are troubleshooting, I used the word troubleshooting because it is a term in engineering for locating fault and finding solution. While I will be wondering what can I offer?
My fellow comrades, at the thought of those words, it came to me as if I should not sign out and still remain a student, but a verse in the word of God says " the night cameth when no one could work" it is now that time, that time has come to send me out of school even when am not willing, as many will not want to depart from the market, but night chases them away.
Now the question is, all I have learnt in the course of my study, can I exercise it? Can I practice it? Can I justify it? But our community needs people that can boast and establish the fact of being a student.
While these questions are pondering our hearts, I want to sincerely congratulate us all; mostly my people in this great citadel of learning; Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, (RUGIPO) 2021 set, know that our stay on the campus is worthwhile and deserve accolades.
In addendum, if God has granted us success while on campus despite the stress, the pandemic and the incessant strikes which caused mental and emotional stress, then we are at the climax way to success.
