The Students Union Executive Councils of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State hold friendly football match between the emeritus and newly elected S.U.E.C in the institution today, 18th March, at the sports unit, football pitch.
The match ended with 1:0 in favour of the newly S.U.E.C Elect as the Senate President port the ball into the net of the outgoing S.U.E.C.
The football match led by the emeritus S.U.G president, Comr.Omoboni Olusola Joseph (P.K.A.Excellent2k20) and Newly SUG President Elect, Comr.Olorunda Oluwafemi(P.K.A Intellectual 2k21)
It was a dramatic encounter for both sides as the Senate President Elect, Comr.Omoyungbo Oluwatobiloba Samuel (P.K.A Kante2k21) scores the winning goal for the Newly S.U.E.C body to grace the encounter.
In addition, The unions were happy for the successful football friendly match and embrace themselves as a sign of love to ensure the development of sporting activities on campus.
However, the event was graced by high calibre of personalities in the institution such as; The Directorate of students Affairs Mr .M.O Oloye, The Dean of Students Affairs, Mr .Henry Olu-Braimoh, some Staff, Directorate of students Affairs, Sports Unit Officials, Faculties Executive, Departmental Executive, Students among others.
