"The 2020/2021 Student Union Executive Council has been the best set of executive so far and would urge this new executive to do more of what the set have done", Rector Said.
The Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Rugipo, Mr Gani Ogundahusi said in the inauguration of the newly Student Union Executive Council (SUEC) body that the previous students union government executive is the best executive so far.
This was made known during a speech presented by Ogundahusi at the inauguration ceremony that was held at Adekunle Ajasin Auditorium of the institution on the 22nd of March, 2022.
This statement had led to the interview conducted by one of our press men with the Rector which he reacted by saying it was a misconception because what he meant was opposite from what the press had in mind.
He said; " the press must have misinterepretated what I was trying to say, initially, the 'Excellent group' had done well and would implore this present executive do more than what they did".
He explained further that the newly elected executive should emulate the previous executive in the aspect that there was peace during their tenure and urge the newly executive to follow their steps.
