The Management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo Ondo State has decided to ban all forms of activities, that are harmful to the growth and peaceful co-existence on the campus.

According to the circular released earlier today stated that, in consideration of the security breach on campus on Wednesday, 23rd and Friday, 25th of February, 2022, students, especially the final year students are disallowed to organize any activity within the school community.

However, the management has highlighted some likely activities that should not take place within the campus community for the main time:

"i. Students gathering together to celebrate the end of their final year examination in the polytechnic

ii. Nagging off and parading with motorcade on campus

iii. Open show of unregistered association, cult groups and oppression of harmless students, and driving of unregistered vehicles on campus by the students"

Meanwhile, all the students are advised to note the decisions of Management and simply comply with them immediately, as any erring student will face the severe penalty.
