Two sisters, Ifeoluwa and Nifemi, who are students of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, have been swindled of their cell phones by an anonymous Prophet, on their way to buy drugs.

According to an eye witness report (Name withheld), the incident happened at Iya-Ijebu Villa, Folahanmi, in Owo, on Monday night, 8th of November, 2021.

However, in an interview with the victims, both sisters explained that the Prophet defrauded them at a provision shop that was not too far from their residence.

Furthermore, the victims added that the Prophet instructed them to get three sachet water, which worth Thirty naira (#30), a nylon bag worth Thirty naira (#30) and collected their cell phones (CAMO 15 and SPARK 4), explaining that the Prophet told them to switch off their phones, before putting them into the nylon bag by himself.

The students lamented saying, ''The Prophet told us we have problems, which needs solution. He told us not to open the nylon bag until we get home and told us to read Psalm 91:1-3''.

Meanwhile, it was when they were done praying and wanted to bathe with the sachet water, they discovered their phones were no longer inside the nylon bag.

Hence, students have been advised to beware of false Prophet or Prophecy and be vigilant always, in order not to become victims of such incident.
