Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State (RUGIPO), has Thursday,5th August 2021 matriculated its newly admitted students for 2020/2021 academic session.
Speaking at the event, held at 800 seater auditorium of the institution, the rector, Mr Gani Ogundahunsi congratulated and admonished the matriculants admitted into various programmes of the school to pursue their careers in their relative field of studies, saying they should be of good ambassadors of the higher citadel of learning in all ways.
He also advised the students who have not paid up their school fees to do so, especially this time when the first semester examinations for 2020/2021 academic session is at hand.
In a separate interview with the Dean of Students Affairs, Mr Henry Olu-Braimoh who
beseeched the students to adopt moral behaviours, noted that this will make them excel in their academic pursuits to become useful, not only to themselves but to the nation at large.
The Dignitaries present at the event alongside the Rector Mr Gani Ogundahunsi, Deputy Rector Academic Engineer O.S Lawson, Rugipo Public Relations Officer Mr. Ojo Samuel among others.
