COLLEGE FEELINGS: WE WILL SOON PRODUCE THE LIKES OF WOLE SOYINKA IN THIS INSTITUTION - OLU-BRAIMOH

The Dean of Student Affairs, of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Mr. Henry Olu-braimoh has expressed optimism that, the citadel will produce more prolific writers such as Prof. Wole Soyinka in future.

He expressed gladness towards the Book Launching programme of COLLEGE FEELINGS, by Adebayo Julius Oyenyen, at Adekunle Ajasin Auditorium, on Thursday, 5th of August, 2021.

Speaking with our correspondent during an interview, Henry commended the Author, Adebayo, for the landmark he has achieved and advised other students to cultivate the habit of reading, because leaders are readers.

The Author of the new book (College Feelings), Adebayo J. Oyenyen, is the President of Students Hallow Chamber and a student from Computer Science Department.

In an interview with the Author, Adebayo expressed happiness towards the success of the event, explaining that he was inspired to writing the literary work, because a lot of things often go through his mind daily.

Adebayo further expressed that, everyone is born with different potentials and the way in which people use them often differs from one another. 

He advised students who dream to become Authors in future, to be focused and should not centre their write-ups on the income they will receive from their publications.

In his words, ''As a writer, you should not set your goals on the income you will receive from your publications, because you will fail. However, write for the fun of it and you shall be rewarded beyond your imagination''.

In addendum, the event was a remarkable one, as DJ Whizzy, MC Google and MC Temituro moderated and entertained guests in a unique dimension.
