S.U.G. BUDGET: S.R.C. APPROVES OVER FIVE MILLION NAIRA

The Student Representative Council (S.R.C.), Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo , has approved over Five million naira 

(#5, 000, 000) budget, for the Student Union Government (S.U.G).

This was disclosed by the Chief Clerk, Senator Abu Oluwatosin, during their sitting on Friday.

According to report, the budget approval was the total compilation of Students Executive Council (S.U.E.C.), Students Representative Council (S.R.C.), Students Judicial Council (S.J.C.), and Hall Chairperson (Females Hostel) respectively.

However, the Males Hostel budget was rejected, because the Hall Chairman was absent at the sitting and could not present his budget.

Furthermore, during an interview with the Speaker, Senator Adebayo Julius Oyenyen said the approval of the budget was based on the majority agreement of Senators.

However, the S.U.E.C.  President, Omoboni Olusola Joseph said, ''the acceptance and approval of the budget is for the welfarism of the Nigeria Students and not for selfish interest''.
