Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State (RUGIPO), has held her 5th Inaugural Lecture .
The lecture tagged ''COMPLETING THE WORK: Environmental Accounting On Earth And Heaven", Was held at the 800 Seaters Auditorium, today Tuesday, 6th July, 2021.
However, the Rector, Gani Ogundahunsi commended the effort of the guest speaker, Dr. Oluwagbenga Jinadu for his contribution towards the development of the institution academically.
Furthermore, during the lecture, the Chief Lecturer form the Department of Accountancy, Dr. Oluwagbenga Jinadu said, the inaugural lecture was designed to prevent individual from the environmental hazard in the Institution, Nation and the world at large.
Dr. Jinadu advised the institution and other sister's tertiary institutions to establish Anti-corruption, transparency and monitoring unit, which will attend to all ethical issues around their areas.
The dignitaries present at the event were; The Rector, Mr. Gani Ogundahunsi, Deputy Rector of Academics, Engineer Lawson Olurunwa , Deans, H.O.D'S, Lecturers from various Departments, among others.
