The Speaker of the Hallow Chamber, who doubles as the coordinator of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, (RUGIPO) Theatre Club, Senator Adebayo Julious Oyenyen has promised to organize subsequent drama presentation in the next few months.
Adebayo revealed this, at the 800 Seaters Auditorium, on Thursday, 15th of July, 2021, during an interview with our correspondents.
According to report, the theatre presentation was the maiden edition of RUGIPO THEATRE CLUB (RTC), which attracted myriad of audience.
Moreover, the event featured two playlets, titled ''VILLAGE OF EKEMBA and VOICELESS''.
Report revealed that the event was informative, educative and entertaining, as it centered on the issues affecting students and the RUGIPO community at large.
However, the first playlet ''VOICELESS'', basically focused on corrupt and immoral practices which people, including lecturers and students of Higher Institutions indulge into, such as Bribe for marks, cultism and other secret act, that are usually hidden.
Meanwhile, the playlet ''VILLAGE OF EKEMBA'' centered on a Community full of calamity as a result of the sins of their forefathers.
Some of the dignitaries who graced the event were Student Union Government (S.U.G.) Executives, presenters from RUGIPO 103.3 F.M., Owo, such as Michael Olorunwa Isiaka (Mr. Gallant), Oluwatosin Ajibola (MC Talent), Victor Ajibola (AVOP), Grace Orukotan and others.
