Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Dean of students affair, Mr H.M Olu Ibrahimo, in an interview with press men has revealed the management plans over the curbing of the rising issue of insecurity among students residing in the schools off-campus.
According to him, the management is working with all relevant security agencies to safe-gaurd the welfare of students residing in the off-campus.
The Dean however lamented on the breakdown of the schools security vehicle which he claimed has been an hinderence to them enhancing their protective operations.
Adding that, the division B police station do not have vehicle to enhance insecurity, but "the management are currently working on the issue, and their Hilux is presently at a mechanic workshop for fixing"
However, the management are working profusely on holding a meeting with all concerned landlords in the off-campus to access the challenges to which the students are facing and on how to curb the insecurity relating issues.
