ASA IS PART OF OUR HERITAGE - Mrs. Adedowole


The Head Of  Mass communication department, Mrs Iyaduni Adedowole has advised students to see Asa as part of their heritage,  that must not be allowed to die .



Mrs. Adedowole made this known why addressing Students in Asa day in conjunction with Yoruba debate between ND 1and ND2, HND1 and HND2 of the department yesterday. 



 Lecturers in communication department,  Mr. Bisi farogbe while speaking at the occasion encourages the students  to preserve the cultural heritage of our land.


Adding that, the act of saying  Yoruba language is a vernacular in some schools should be ignored, and he calls on all schools across the nation to promote their culture irrespective of their language. 


while speaking at the event, a Lecture from Language department,  Mr Aminu  commend the effort of mass Communication department in promoting yoruba culture and needs to promote Yoruba language and culture .


 He also called for extensive use of Yoruba language among the people in order to continue to propagate Yoruba culture.


Asa  is a yearly cultural Celebration where all students gathers and  display their cultural heritage .


Mrs. Adedowole however, encourages the students to always take good side of our culture.
